The Work Changed. The Why Didn’t.

Doors Closed. Connections Grew. FIERA Emerged.

I realized recently that I hadn’t written here since November. And honestly, a lot has happened since then.

The week before Christmas, Gary and I made an unexpected move. That change meant closing the doors on my physical studio, the space where I had spent so much time helping women move, grow stronger, and feel more at home in their bodies.

For a while, I had to ask myself what the work would look like now. I knew I still wanted to help women feel strong and capable. I just needed to find a new way to do it.

That answer started taking shape in two ways. I opened a virtual studio so I could bring classes to more women, wherever they are. And I brought personal training back into my life, creating a beautiful place to work with clients in the glass-enclosed greenhouse studio at our home.

I love that this chapter lets me train women intentionally, in person and virtually, while also leaving room for the people I love most, including my grandchildren. It has also allowed me to be home while Farrah finishes her senior year of homeschooling, earning a 4.0 as she works toward graduating early. Life and work don’t have to compete with each other in quite the same way when you’re willing to rethink how they fit together.

“Life and work don’t have to compete with each other when you’re willing to rethink how they fit together.”

One thing that hasn’t changed is my commitment to wellness. I’m still building my Isagenix business, sharing products I believe in, and helping people find practical ways to support their health. Those products and resources are on the Wellness pages of this site, and I’m continuing to grow that part of my work alongside everything else.

But over these past months, I’ve also been listening for what might be bigger than any one class, program, or product.

I spent much of the first half of this year building Vibrant 28, a 28-day health and wellness reboot for women shaped by everything I’d learned through personal development, health coaching, personal training, and fitness.

As I worked on it, I started to see a bigger picture. I was trying to fit decades of learning, coaching, movement, and life into one 28-day container. The more I built, the more I realized the idea reaching me was bigger than a single program, and bigger than what could happen in a studio or on a Zoom screen.

Vibrant 28 became a doorway. Through it, I began to imagine FIERA Collective: creating different kinds of spaces for women to gather, reconnect with themselves, and meet one another. An evening gathering. A full-day awakening. A deeper, multi-day immersion. Each experience could have its own shape, while all of them made room for the same thing: women being supported as they move toward who they’re becoming.

I’ve spent years meeting women through fitness, wellness, and entrepreneurship. Over time, I’ve built connections with so many talented, thoughtful women. And I began to understand that one of my gifts is being a connector: seeing the people, ideas, and possibilities that could come together, then helping create the space for that to happen.

I don’t picture myself as the only person at the front of the room. I picture creating a room where remarkable women can bring their gifts, and where women can meet one another, feel supported, and discover what might be possible in the season they’re walking through.

FIERA is still taking shape. At its heart is a belief I keep returning to: there is a space between who we’ve been and who we’re becoming, and that space deserves care, connection, and room to grow.

So no, I haven’t been gone. I’ve been moving through a season that asked me to close one door, rebuild some parts of my work, and pay attention to a larger vision.

I’m glad to be back here, and I’m looking forward to sharing what comes next.

If you haven’t had a chance to look around the new website, I’d love for you to wander through it. You can explore the Wellness pages, visit the Virtual Studio, and learn more about personal training. And keep an eye out for FIERA Collective as it continues to take shape. If you have a question, feel like you might be a great fit for FIERA, or simply want to reconnect, please reach out. I’d love to hear from you.
